Patrons are seated at the first appropriate break, allowing for the least disruption for performers and seated patrons and at the discretion of house management. Select performances will not allow late seating.
All performances are rain or shine. Only in rare weather emergencies will a performance be canceled or rescheduled. Ticket holders will be notified immediately.
Our lost and found is located at the Charleston Gaillard Center Ticket Office.
There is no dress code for events hosted in the Martha and John M. Rivers Performance Hall. For all performances and events held in the Charleston Gaillard Center, attire should be comfortable and appropriate for the occasion.
Food and beverages are available for all events held in the Martha and John M. Rivers Performance Hall. Click here to learn more about Café 95. Food, liquor, and red wine are not allowed into the Performance Hall. As of December 1, 2022, all food and beverage concessions will be cashless. Credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay mobile payment app will be accepted.
Taking photographs or recording of performances are strictly prohibited in the theater. This includes cell phone photography and videography.
We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to showtime.

All ticket sales are final. The Charleston Gaillard Center does not offer any exchanges or refunds.
Everyone attending a performance at the Charleston Gaillard Center must have a ticket, regardless of age. Please note, children will have the best experience if they are able to sit in a seat throughout the entire performance. While we do not recommend children under the age of five (5) attend an event unless specifically suited to that age, we will welcome you into the theater. Call our Ticket Office at (843) 242-3099 for information about shows appropriate for younger audiences. We strive to provide an enjoyable experience for all of our patrons, children or adults who become disruptive will be asked to leave.

Fees are applied to the purchase of tickets to all Charleston Gaillard Center events. These charges consist of facility fees and processing fees. There is an additional shipping fee for all mailed tickets.

Gift certificates are available in any amount and can be redeemed for all Charleston Gaillard Center hosted performances. Gift certificates can be purchased here, over the phone at (843) 242-3099, or in person at our Ticket Office located at 95 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
Will Call tickets may be picked up in the Charleston Gaillard Center Lobby. Will Call opens 2 hour prior to each performance. Photo ID may be required for ticket pick up.
The only authorized ticket sales for the Charleston Gaillard Center are the venue Ticket Office, in person at 95 Calhoun Street, over the phone at (843)-242-3099, or on our website at gaillardcenter.org. Tickets purchased from unauthorized or third party ticket sellers may be stolen, counterfeit or invalid and may not be honored. Tickets purchased from outside sources are often inflated in price and are not eligible for assistance if tickets are ever lost or stolen or if the event is canceled or rescheduled. The Charleston Gaillard Center is not responsible for tickets purchased from other sources.
Smoking is not permitted at the Gaillard Center, within the building and on grounds.
