The Charleston Gaillard Center address is 95 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401. Our building sits on Calhoun Street between Anson Street and Alexander Street. For ticketing information please contact our Ticket Office at or (843) 242-3900.

Directions to the Charleston Gaillard Center

With a proper placard, accessible parking can be found both in the parking garage adjacent to the facility and the city lot located across Alexander Street from the Performance Hall loading dock.

Both of the primary entrances on the George St. and Calhoun St. sides are handicap accessible and lead into the shared lobby space between the Martha and John Rivers’ Performance and Exhibition Hall.

There are handicap accessible elevators located in close proximity to either entrance and once through the shared lobby and into the Performance Hall lobbies there are elevators located to the north and south of the central lobby.

Handicap access to the stage and dressing room areas is available via the elevator off stage right and immediately adjacent to the Stage Door on the Northeast end of the facility just off of Alexander Street. Handicap accessible restrooms can be found on every floor and centrally adjacent to each of the facilities’ patron areas.

Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise. Assistive Listening Systems are installed in the Martha and John M. Rivers Performance Hall as well as all of our Exhibition Halls. We are also equipped with the induction neck loops are available for patrons who use hearing aids and cochlear implants with a “T” switch. Ask your audiologist whether your hearing aid or cochlear implant has a “T” switch (telecoil) and how to use it with an assistive listening headset. 

Assistive Listening Devices are available at the Gaillard Center Ticket Office. A valid photo ID is required.
