Patron Safety Is Our First Priority

The safety and security of our patrons is our number one priority. We are committed to following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the local guidelines from the City of Charleston while providing the best patron experience for your visit.

With this guidance from national, state, and local health officials, we are implementing additional guidelines and procedures for sanitation and cleaning as well as building modifications, new equipment, and changes in how we’ll host our events.

This commitment ensures the hygiene and sanitation practices of the Gaillard Center will continue to deliver on our rigorous standards, plus expand to meet or exceed the new regulatory requirements and cleanliness protocols as recommended by the CDC.

These protocols are based on the most current information available on sanitization and cleanliness for live entertainment venues and other hospitality businesses. As we move forward, we will continue to monitor guidelines for the latest public health innovations so that we are continually updating these procedures.

Accessibility Help Desk

All socially distant performances feature an Accessibility Help Desk to prevent congregation at the Ticket Office. The Accessibility Help Desk is located in Café 95 and provides wheelchairs, Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs), and sensory bags. Learn more about accessibility here, or contact our Ticket Office at (843) 242- 3099 or ticketing@gaillardcenter.org.

Together, our efforts will slow the spread of the virus and create a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Thank you for your support.

PLEASE NOTE: These protocols currently in place are subject to change in compliance with revisions to national and local guidelines regarding COVID-19. While we will provide the most up-to-date public health procedures to improve patron safety, they are not an absolute protection against contracting COVID-19. Patrons assume their own risk by entering the facility.
