About the Show
Founded in 1988, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis tours the world performing a vast repertoire of music, from historic and rare compositions to commissioned works. The group’s compositions and arrangements include works by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Fletcher Henderson, Thelonious Monk, Mary Lou Williams, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Goodman, and Charles Mingus, as well as new music from the group’s unrivalled collection of world-renowned composers and arrangers.
This performance is part of Wynton Marsalis’s final season as Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center and Music Director of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.

The Charleston Gaillard Center’s Education and Community Program is pleased to announce student and teacher tickets are available for this performance. Limited availability. Limited to two tickets per person with valid student/teacher ID.
Student and Teacher tickets available in advance: Tickets are $38 for Green and $35 for Orange seats on seating map. Price will update after Student/Teacher ticket is added to the cart. Ticket purchasers must pick up their tickets at Will Call the night of the performance.
