Multi-talented musician, composer, educator, producer, Charlestonian, and Grammy Award winner Quentin Baxter joins the CSO for an evening of jazzy sounds inspired by various art forms. Along with Baxter, several other special guests will perform.
The concert will feature music from a recent recording project of the Quentin Baxter Quintet, “Art Moves Jazz.” Charleston’s musical talent will certainly shine with Ravel’s Bolero, Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins, Fantasia on an Ellington Theme (featuring drum solos), and feisty tangos by Astor Piazzolla.
