About the Event
Join Ashley Hall, Charleston Gaillard Center, Charleston Symphony, Rivers Foundation, and Spoleto Festival USA for an evening honoring the life and legacy of Martha Rivers Ingram. A devoted daughter of Charleston and a driving force behind arts and education across the city, she will be remembered through a program of music reflecting the breadth of her passions, including opera, musical theater, and symphonic and chamber music. The evening features performances by the Charleston Symphony, cellist Zuill Bailey, soprano Nicole Heaston, Martha’s grandson Henry Ingram, members of Spoleto Festival USA’s Bank of America Chamber Music Series, and choirs from Ashley Hall and Charleston County School of the Arts. Additional program details to be announced at a later date.
