About the Show

A Teen Odyssey is a show for all generations — an invitation to celebrate anyone who is, or ever was, a teenager. An exhilarating piece of immersive physical theater from Mallorca, it combines live physical performance with smartphone technology to transform every audience member into an active participant. Exploring identity, belonging, and what connects us across generations, it is a show as much for the teenager discovering who they are as for the adult who still remembers exactly how that felt. Visually striking and sonically rich, this is theater that stays with you long after you leave the room.

Please note: Suitable for ages 12+. The audience will be standing throughout, and will be required to move around during the performance (wheelchair accessible). Strobe Lighting and haze will be used in this performance.

A highly engaging interactive promenade piece centred around our smartphones.

About PURE Theatre

PURE Theatre is a professional regional theatre in Charleston, South Carolina, dedicated to bold contemporary work that is fearless, intimate, and alive in the room. For more than two decades, PURE has built its reputation on plays that are urgent, human, funny, challenging, beautiful, and impossible to ignore.

Known for its ensemble of exceptional artists and its commitment to bold new voices, PURE creates theatre that asks something of us: to listen more closely, think more honestly, and leave the room a little less certain than when we entered. PURE’s productions bring people together for experiences that linger, sparking conversation, reflection, and connection long after the performance ends.

Rooted in Charleston and working at a national-caliber level, PURE has become an essential part of the city’s cultural life: intimate, fearless, and unmistakably itself.
