The Charleston Gaillard Center’s education and community programs bring the arts to life inside the Martha and John M. Rivers Performance Hall and beyond. Students explore their imagination, stretch their limits, and learn through innovative programs, school-series shows, talented teaching artists, and in-school offerings designed to complement the state curriculum. Teachers, parents, and students can discover the many ways to experience the arts at the Gaillard, while community initiatives showcase the talents of local artists, share the stories of Lowcountry residents, and support the continued growth of arts in the region.

Education Performances are 60 minutes long and are purposefully chosen to correlate with the South Carolina Department of Education standards.
